The Office of Crime Prevention and the CSM organising committee have decided to not hold Community Safety Month in 2008.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for the great support over the last four years. It has been inspiring working with you and see how the calendar was filled with a huge range of safety and prevention events and activities.

In 2007 we had close to 450 events registered on the calendar and more than 100,000 participated in these events.

As an alternative to CSM the Office of Crime Prevention has decided to hold "Crime Prevention Week" (CPW)  between Sunday 21 September and Saturday 27 September.

You are all invited to participate by registering your events during this week. An events calendar will be available on the Office of Crime Prevention website shortly.
